The Frostmother

The Frostmother is a goddess of frost, order and magic, holding domain over the entirety of Wasnord in an eternal winter. She finds her strength in the magical snowstorms that blow across Wasnordian mountains, in the ice that spreads across Wedrobian lakes and in the frosty crystals that weave patterns across the north of The Aberlands. Followers of the Frostmother often follow pursuits of holy magic and craftsmanship rather than the combative natures of fighters and barbarians. Nevertheless, those fighting in The Northern Wars will often carry her symbol upon their necks as a sign of good luck: A silver snowflake with an eye set in the centre.

Occasionally the Frostmother is believed to mark those born on the first and last day of Somnumius. The first and last day of the coldest month are solstices celebrated by the followers of the Four Lords, recognising the Frostmother coming into the height of her power. Those born on these days in areas of extreme cold are sometimes marked with unnaturally pale skin, pale grey eyes or white patches of hair. Cornayan Scholars believe this is less a religious effect than one of their environment, however, enough people living are marked in such ways to warrant a fanatical response in the Four Lord's most loyal followers.

The Springfather

The Springfather is a god of life, joy and fertility, a joyous and kind ruler of his dominion in Wedrobia. He finds his strength in the blooming blossom of Southshire Orchards, in the moss growing on the trees of the Wedrobian Forests and in the clear blue waters that border his fertile lands. Followers of the Springfather often follow persuits of natural or perfomative magic as well as druidic and naturalistic ways of life. Many rangers in Wedrobia respect the springfather even if they do not follow him, often donning his symbol of a wooden face bordered in leaves on a necklace or adorning shields.

Occasionally the Springfather is believed to mark those born on the first and last day of Luctius. The first and last day of the month of flowers are solstices celebrated by the followers of the Four Lords, recognising the Springfather coming into the height of his power. Those born on these days in areas of abundant growth are sometimes marked with unusually healthy lives, multiple babies born to the same pregnancy or increased fertility in later life. Cornayan Scholars believe this is less a religious effect than one of their environment, however, enough people living are marked in such ways to warrant a fanatical response in the Four Lord's most loyal followers.

The Flamekeeper

The Flamekeeper is a god of light, of power and of strength, a strong and fair leader to their quadrant of the nation of Wedrobia. They find their strength in the warmth of the forge as sparks fly from the clashing steel, in the burning heat of the sun as it gives life to its surroundings and in the wildlife which thrives in their lands. Followers of the Flamekeeper are often much more martial by nature, prepared to jump into the heat of battle rather than sit on the sidelines and plan. This is not to say that they are foolish, the followers of The Flamekeeper possess some of the finest weapons and armour in Ossinett - each adorned with their holy symbol of a burning face within a golden sun.

Occasionally the Flamekeeper is believed to mark those born on the first and last day of Lucernius. The first and last day of the warmest month are solstices celebrated by the followers of the Four Lords, recognising the Flamekeeper coming into the height of his power. Those born on these days in areas of great warmth are sometimes marked with easier muscle development, golden hair or unusual beauty. Cornayan Scholars believe this is less a religious effect than one of their environment, however, enough people living are marked in such ways to warrant a fanatical response in the Four Lord's most loyal followers.

The lady of the leaf

The Lady of the Leaf is a goddess of change, necessary destruction and learning, finding her home within the golden, lamplit paths of her Wedrobian Quadrant. She finds her strength in the leaves as they turn from yellow to orange in eternal autumn, in the woodland critters that scurry across the brown dirt forest floor and in the knowledge that all things must end in preparation for new beginnings. The Lady's followers are often wise yet willing to learn, stern and yet take no pleasure in their destruction - the followers are aware of what must be done and how best to do it. Those who follow the Lady of the Leaf will carry often a version of her symbol adorning shields, cloaks or necklaces: a sun and moon overlapping with an orange gemstone or colouring in the centre.

Occasionally the Lady of the Leaf is believed to mark those born on the first and last day of Obnubulius. The first and last day of the month of decay are solstices celebrated by the followers of the Four Lords, recognising the Lady of the Leaf coming into the height of her power. Those born on these days in areas or times of great change are sometimes marked with unnaturally aged skin, red patches of hair and amber eyes. Cornayan Scholars believe this is less a religious effect than one of their environment, however, enough people living are marked in such ways to warrant a fanatical response in the Four Lord's most loyal followers.
